Spartan Learning Experience Design (SLXD) is a monthly professional development workshop series for Michigan State University faculty, covering instructional design, D2L, accessibility, and teaching strategies.
I co-led the series from May 2024 to July 2025, and have led it independently since September 2025.
Each session is a one-hour hybrid workshop held on Zoom and in person at the Center for Teaching and Learning Innovation. Topics range from practical D2L skills to evidence-based instructional design strategies. I design the workshop materials, facilitate the session, and publish a Notion page with resources for each session.
